Description
Rabbit Anti-Human Factor X polyclonal antibody for WB, ICC, IHC. Factor X (EC 3.4.21.6; also known as Prothrombinase, Stuart factor, Stuart-Prower factor) is encoded by the F10 (also known as FX or FXA) gene (Entrez Gene ID 2158) in human. Factor X is activated into factor Xa by by factor IXa (in the intrisic pathway) or by factor VIIa (in the extrinsic pathway). The active factor Xa mediates the cleavage of prothrombin to thrombin in the presence of factor Va, calcium and phospholipid during blood clotting. Mutations of F10 gene result in factor X deficiency, a hemorrhagic condition of variable severity.
