Description
This affinity purified antibody is directed against yeast RFA2. The product was affinity purified from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity purification. Antiserum was purified against the phosphorylated form of the immunizing peptide and then cross adsorbed against the non-phosphorylated form of the peptide. This antibody consists of antibodies eluted from the non-phospho peptide column.
Immunogen
This affinity purified antibody was prepared from whole rabbit serum produced by repeated immunizations with a synthetic peptide corresponding to aa 115-129 (of 273) of yeast DNA Replication Factor A (RFA2). The RFA complex consists of a heterotrimer of RFA1, RFA2 and RFA3, 69, 36 and 13 kda chains respectively. Yeast RFA2 is phosphorylated at the G1/S transition and is dephosphorylated at mitosis.
