Description
Purified anti-Testosterone. In vertebrate, Testosterone is the major male sex hormone that is essential to the development of reproductive organs and secondary sexual characteristics. It also plays a key role in muscle development, body mass increase and body fair growth. Importantly, it is critical to sperm development.In vivo, testosterone is primarily secreted by testicles (in male), and by ovaries (in female), and eventually metabolized in liver. In the central nervous system, Testosterone is one of the key components of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis, which is activated acutely by dominance challenger. It has been reported that different level of sex hormones, including testosterone, determines human behavior, as well as brain development and recovery after injury.
