Description
The Human Diabesity Panel is a multiplex bead-based assay panel, which uses fluorescence-encoded beads suitable for use on various flow cytometers. This panel allows for the simultaneous quantification of 11 human proteins involved in diabesity, including PAI-1, GLP-1 (Total), Insulin, C-Peptide, TNFα, Glucagon, Leptin, Cortisol, IL-1β, IL-6 and GLP-1 (Active). This assay panel provides broader dynamic ranges than traditional ELISA methods and has been validated for use with tissue culture supernatant, serum, and EDTA plasma samples. The LEGENDplex? A concentrated cortisol tracer is provided in this kit which will need to be diluted 100-fold before the assay. This cortisol tracer will be added to all wells before adding the beads. The competition between the cortisol tracer and the standard cortisol will characterize the standard curve. Due to the nature of the assay, the standard curve will have the highest signal at the lowest standard cortisol concentration and will decrease as the standard cortisol concentration increases.
