The's Smart Multi Color Pre-Stained Protein Standard is used to estimate the protein molecular weight of protein samples on SDS-PAGE gel and evaluate the western transfer efficiency. It consists of six pre-stained proteins in the range of 14 to 100 kDa. The proteins of 40 kDa and 100 kDa are covalently coupled with orange dye to ensure proper identification of each protein. The protein of 14 kDa is covalently coupled with bright yellow dye for easy orientation. The proteins of 24kDa, 30kDa, and 62 kDa are covalently coupled with blue dye for easy visualization. Smart Multi Color Pre-Stained Protein Standard is supplied in gel loading buffer and can be applied directly to a SDS-PAGE gel.
