Description
EBV LMP2A Antibody is a Rat monoclonal antibody for infectious agents and toxins against EBV LMP2A. This antibody was isolated from hybridization of P3X63.Ag8.653 myeloma cells with spleen cells from immunised Lou/C rats. Recognizes LMP2A. Does not cross react with LMP2B. LMP2A forms aggregates in the plasma membrane of B lymphocytes, where it functions as a negative regulator of the Src and Syk protein tyrosine kinases. Specifically recognizes LMP2A and does not cross react with LMP2B.
