Description
Otubain-2 is a C65 type peptidase and a member of the ovarian tumor (OTU) protein super-family found in eukaryotes, viruses and pathogenic bacterium. Otubain-2 associates with the E3 ubiquitin ligases TRAF3 and TRAF6, and has been shown to negatively regulate virus-induced type I IFN induction and the antiviral responses mediated by these ligases.
