GADD45B is necessary for adult neurogenesis, including brain-derived neurotrophic factor and fibroblast growth factor. And therefore, this protein is implicated in affecting synaptic plasticity. Recombinant GADD45B protein was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
