Human cardiomyocytes are derived from whole hearts that have been dissociated into single cells and cultured using differential adhesion. Human cardiomyocytes are from a single Donor. They are highly positive for cardiac sarcomeric actin, myosin heavy chain and other cardiac markers. These cells are high purity cardiomyocytes as deemed by immunocytochemistry. Human cardiomyocytes may be used for various types of in vitro, in vivo, or transplantation studies into normal or diseased systems. They are ideal for cardiac toxicology studies.
