Description
Purified anti-BID. BID, a BH3 interacting domain death agonist, is a member of the Bcl-2 family. Upon activation, in response to Fas/TNF-R1 death receptor signal, it is cleaved by caspase 8 and translocated to mitochondria. There it induces cytochrome C release, which in turn activates downstream caspases.
