Description
Rabbit Anti-PTS Recombinant Antibody (EPR1517(2)). This product is a rabbit antibody that recognizes PTS of human. The antibody EPR1517(2) can be used for immunoassay techniques such as: IF, IHC-P, IP, WB. The enzyme encoded by this gene catalyzes the elimination of inorganic triphosphate from dihydroneopterin triphosphate, which is the second and irreversible step in the biosynthesis of tetrahydrobiopterin from GTP. Mutations in this gene result in hyperphenylalaninemia. Involved in the biosynthesis of tetrahydrobiopterin, an essential cofactor of aromatic amino acid hydroxylases. This protein catalyzes the transformation of 7,8-dihydroneopterin triphosphate into 6-pyruvoyl tetrahydropterin.
