Description
Epitope: NH2-CRHQEAEMAQNAVRLHPYGL-OH. Fusion: 09/05. This antibody is specific to beta-catenin phosphorylated at Tyr 489. Beta-1 Catenin is a Key downstream component of the canonical Wnt signaling pathway whose function is affected by differential phosphorylation. Specificity tested on Y489F beta-catenin. See mAb PY654-B-catenin (IgG) for an antibody specific to beta-catenin phosphorylated at Tyr 654. The catenin target of PY489-B-catenin has been described as nuclear-bound/active beta-catenin, and the target of PY654-B-catenin (IgG) has been described as membrane-bound/cytoplasmic beta-catenin.
