Description
Rabbit Anti-Human ABCG1 polyclonal antibody for WB, IHC. ATP-binding cassette sub-family G member 1, also known as, ATP-binding cassette transporter 8 or White protein homolog, and encoded by the gene name(s), ABCG1 or ABC8 or WHT1, is an active component of the macrophage lipid export complex and may also be involved in intracellular lipid transport processes. ABCG1 is predominantly localized in the intracellular compartments that are mainly associated with the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) and Golgi membranes. ABCG1 is expressed in macrophages where expression is increased in macrophages from patients with Tangier disease.
