Rabbit Anti-CACNA2D2 Recombinant Antibody (BA0102). This product is a rabbit antibody that recognizes CACNA2D2. The antibody BA0102 can be used for immunoassay techniques such as: IP, WB. The CACNA2D2 gene encodes the alpha-2-delta-2 auxiliary subunit of high voltage-gated calcium channels. Auxiliary subunits modulate calcium current and channel activation and inactivation kinetics, and may be involved in proper assembly and membrane localization of the channels. Alpha-2-delta-2 is a receptor for the antiepileptic drug gabapentin. Mutations in this gene are associated with early infantile epileptic encephalopathy.
