Synaptojanin 1 Antibody, ABfinity? Rabbit Oligoclonal. Synaptojanin 1 is a phosphatase expressed predominantly in the nervous system. It is concentrated in the nerve terminals where it has been implicated in synaptic vesicle recycling and actin function. There is also evidence that synaptojanin 1 is involved in clathrin-mediated endocytosis. Mutations affecting the gene result in Parkinson disease 20, early-onset (PARK20).
