Description
Mouse Anti-MVP Recombinant Antibody (1014). Provided herein is a Mouse monoclonal antibody, which binds to Major Vault Protein (MVP). The antibody can be used for immunoassay techniques, such as WB, IP, IF, IHC-P. Gene of MVP encodes the major component of the vault complex. Vaults are multi-subunit ribonucleoprotein structures that may paticipate in nucleo-cytoplasmic transport. MVP may play a role in multiple cellular processes by regulating the JAK/STAT, MAP kinase and phosphoinositide 3-kinase/Akt signaling pathways. MVP also plays a role in multidrug resistance, and expression of this gene may be a prognostic marker for several types of cancer. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been found for this gene.
