Description
Purified anti-Clusterin. Clusterin, also known as Apolipoprotein J, is a heterodimeric glycoprotein that is a member of the heat-shock protein family. The protein exhibits a wide array of biological functions including clearance of cellular debris through chaperone activity, apoptosis, lipid transportation, cell clustering, and complement inhibition. Clusterin is involved in many diseases related to oxidative stress and aging, including neurodegenerative disorders, cancers, diabetes, and inflammatory diseases.
