Description
UniProt: P97468 Monoclonal antibody 1G10 recognizes the G protein-coupled receptor CMKLR1, a member of the seven-transmembrane domain receptors. CMKLR1 is a 371 amino acid protein that binds the chemoattractant adipokine chemerin / RARRES2 and the omega-3 fatty acid-derived molecule resolvin E1. Binding of the agonist leads to multifunctional effects, like reduction of immune responses, enhancing of adipogenesis and angionesis. This receptor has been described to be expressed in immature plasmacytoid dendritic cells (DCs) and, at lower levels, in myeloid DCs, macrophages, and NK cells. Expression has also been described on macrophages isolated from different tissues.
