Marker for prostate cells. May be used, in case of prostate cancers, as a target antigen for protate carcinomas-directed cytotoxic T-cell lymphocytes.Tissue specificity: Prostate-specific. Expressed in all prostatic glandular cells. Immunogen
A synthetic peptide from aa region 400-450 of human Prostein (SLC45A3) conjugated to blue carrier protein was used as the antigen. The peptide is homologous in rat and mouse.
