Description
Rabbit Anti-GABBR1 Recombinant Antibody (BA0372). This product is a rabbit antibody that recognizes GABBR1. The antibody BA0372 can be used for immunoassay techniques such as: WB. This gene encodes a receptor for gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), which is the main inhibitory neurotransmitter in the mammalian central nervous system. Within the heterodimeric GABA receptor, only GABBR1 seems to bind agonists. The metabotropic GABA-B receptors are coupled to G proteins and modulate synaptic transmission through intracellular effector systems. GABA-B receptors function by inhibiting presynaptic transmitter release or by increasing the potassium conductance responsible for long-lasting inhibitory postsynaptic potentials.
