    DescriptionPurified anti-Dopamine Transporter, EL2. Plasmalemmal neurotransmitter transporters sequester synaptic and peri-synaptic transmitter into presynaptic elements. The Dopamine Transporter (DAT) is responsible for the reaccumulation of dopamine after it has been released. Levels of DAT protein expression are altered by chronic drug administration.
