Highly Purified. C-terminus of aa-YDLSKDPGENYN Control peptide corresponding to polyclonal antibody, Catalog#A3596-51, goat x human. ARSA hydrolyzes cerebroside sulfate to cerebroside and sulfate. Defects in this protein lead to metachromatic leucodystrophy (MLD), a progressive demyelination disease which results in a variety of neurological symptoms and ultimately death. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described for this gene. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA.
