Purity >98% by HPLC. IKK-16 is a potent and selective inhibitor of I Kappa B kinase (IKK) with IC50 values from 40, 70 and 200 nM for IKKBeta, IKK complex and IKKa respectively. It is effective in cells and in animals and has been used delineate the role of NF- Kappa B signaling in diverse contexts. IKK-16 has also been reported to inhibit protein kinase D isoforms and the ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporter ABCB1.
