CD45 Magnetic Particles have been used to enrich fetal erythroblasts from maternal blood. They were also used to enrich epithelial tumor cells from peripheral blood, bone marrow, or lymphoid tissue by depletion of CD45+ leukocytes. Stem cells from human bone marrow have been enriched by depletion of cells labeled with CD235a (Glycophorin A) Magnetic Particles and CD45 Magnetic Particles. Furthermore, CD45 Magnetic Particles have been used in xenogeneic engraftment studies for the isolation of CD45+ leukocytes.
