Description
Rabbit Anti-Human CD8 monoclonal antibody for IHC-P. CD8 molecule consists of two chains, termed a and β chain, which aree expressed as a disulphide-linked a/β heterdimer or as an a/a homodimer onT cell subset, thymocytes and NK cells. The majority of CD8+ T cells express CD8 as a/β heterdimer. CD8 functions as a coreceptor in concertwith TCR for binding the MHC class I/peptide complex. The HIV-2 envelope glycoprotein binds CD8 a chain (but not β chain).
