    DescriptionmCherry mAntibody (Clone 1). mCherry is an engineered derivative of one of a family of proteins originally isolated from Cnidarians (jelly fish, sea anemones and corals). mCherry is the second generation monomeric red fluorescent protein that have improved brightness and photostabilty. It is an ideal tool for monitoring the dynamics of tagged proteins for protein-protein integration, cell-sorting, organelle labeling, protein localization, gene expression and more. The anti-mCherry antibody recognizes over expressed recombinant proteins containing the mCherry tag fused to either the amino- or carboxy termini of targeted proteins in transfected mammalian cells or other expression systems.
