Description
Rabbit Anti-Human TPI polyclonal antibody for WB, ICC, IHC. Triosephosphate isomerase (EC 5.3.1.1; also known as Epididymis secretory protein Li 49, Tip-1 or Triose-phosphate isomerase) is encoded by the gene TPI1 gene (also known as TIM, TPI, TPID, HEL-S-49) in human. TPI1 functions as a dimer and catalyzes the coversion of D-glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate (G3P) to dihydroxy-acetone phosphate (DHAP or glycerone phosphate). TPI/TIM gene mutations are linked to triosephosphate isomerase deficiency.
