Immunohistochemistry, IF Microscopy, Western Blot. Anti-Tankyrase is stored in 0.1M Tris, 0.1M Glycine buffer. Tankyrase Antibody is suitable for use in WB, IF, and IHC. Expect a band approximately 142 kDa on specific lysates. Tankyrase 1 produces, by alternative splicing, 8 different transcripts putatively encoding 8 different isoforms. Tankyrase 2 putatively encodes 8 different isoforms. Therefore the molecular weights observed by western blots may vary depending on the isoform expressed and recognized by the antibody. Suggested antigen retrieval using heat mediated 10mM Citrate buffer (pH6.0) or Tris-EDTA buffer (pH8.0). Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user.

Description
Tankyrase Antibody was purified by Antigen affinity chromatography. A BLAST analysis was used to suggest cross-reactivity with Tankyrase from Human, Mouse 99%, Chicken 98%, Rat 98%, and Bovine 98% based on homology with the immunizing sequence. Cross-reactivity with Tankyrase from other sources has not been determined.

Tankyrase Antibody was produced from whole rabbit serum prepared by repeated immunizations with a recombinant protein fragment containing a sequence corresponding to a region within amino acids 1070 and 1303 of Tankyrase.
