Despite its predicted molecular weight of 8kDa, PIG-Y often migrates at 28-30 kDa in SDS-PAGE. Expect a band in Western Blots using positive control A-20 whole cell lysate, Human spleen tissue for IHC and IF, or other specific cell lysates and tissues. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user.
