Applications

Expect a band of approximately 39 kDa in size corresponding to p38 MAPK protein phosphorylated at Thr180/Tyr182 in the appropriate cell lysate or extract.

Description
Anti-p38 MAPK pT180/pY182 Antibody is directed against phophorylated p38 MAPK. The antibody was affinity purified from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity purification and is specific for the phosphorylated p38 MAPK protein. Immunolabeling is blocked by preadsorption of the antibody with the phosphopeptide used as antigen but not by the corresponding dephosphopeptide. Reactivity is exprected from the following species based on 100% sequence homology: bovine, canine, chicken, mouse, non-human primates, rat and zebra fish.
Immunogen
Anti-p38 MAPK pT180/pY182 Antibody was produced by repeated immunizations with a synthetic phospho-peptide corresponding to amino acid residues surrounding Thr180/Tyr182.
