Sulfo-NHS-LC-Biotin is a long chain, primary amine (-NH2) reactive, water soluble biotinylation reagent. Sulfo-NHS-LC-Biotin is routinely used to add biotin groups to a protein or peptide molecule. This compound can be added directly to aqueous buffer, rather than first dissolving it in DMF or DMSO.
