Biotin Magnetic Particles, Fluorescent Nile Red (# WHM-S127) are prepared by either staining the polystyrene core of the particles with a solution of appropriate fluorophore or by polymerizing a fluorophore in styrene in the presence of polystyrene core particles. They have strong affinities for avidin, streptavidin, and neutravidin tagged proteins. Therefore, these particles can be used when avidin, streptavidin or neutravidin is bound to proteins or oligonucleotides in immunoassay or molecular diagnostics. Application Notes:?
