Carboxyl Magnetic Particles, PEG-coated, 30nm (# WHM-T003) are highly magnetic cobalt nanoparticles with PEG surface and functionalized with carboxyl groups, which can be coupled with amines to form amide bonds. This enables the immobilization of proteins, peptides and antibodies. It can also be applied to some other chemistries, for instance, HBTU, BOP and DCC etc. Application Notes:The carboxyl-functionalized magnetic cobalt nanoparticles with PEG surface are used to react with amine bearing functionalities, e.g. EDC/NHS chemistry, as well as some other chemical agents including HBTU, BOP and DCC etc. Especially for biomedical applications, these nanoparticles can be used for proteins or ligands immobilization and immunoassay efficiently.
