    DescriptionBioID/BirA Chicken Polyclonal Ab. Reacts with BioID and BirA from E. coli. This polyclonal antibody is directed against BirA R118G, which is a promiscuous biotin ligase used for BioID-based studies. It also detects wild-type BirA which acts both as a biotin-operon repressor and as the enzyme that biotinylates an acetyl-CoA subunit and transfers a biotin moiety to biotin-accepting proteins.
