The protein is a member of the protein kinase superfamily, Tyr protein kinase family, and is a proto-oncogene encodes a protein tyrosine kinase that is located in the cytoplasm and nucleus. ABL is a protein kinase that mediates key processes linked to cell growth and survival, and regulates cytoskeleton remodeling during cell differentiation, cell division and cell adhesion.
    ImmunogenThis ABL antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acid residues surrounding Y251 of human ABL.
