This method utilizes 2mL microfuge tubes and is designed to measure residual NS/0 host cell DNA. The kit includes our proprietary extraction procedure to isolate residual DNA without the use of iodine or glycogen. The superior co-precipitating reagents do not interfere with qPCR and ensure that pellets do not become dislodged during the extraction procedure, whereby eliminating the need to spin samples over again. Also, since the pellets remain fixed to the tubes, the need to retest or repeat a run is eliminated. Cell line specific, NS/0 DNA calibrators are included in the kit. Upon completion of the extraction, the samples are reacted with PicroGreen? Solution. Time to completion is under 2 hours. There is enough reagent in the kit to analyze 100 samples.
