Product Specifications Bovine IGFBP-2: Bovine IGF Binding Protein-2 (bIGFBP-2) is a 284 amino acid protein that is a member of a family of six IGF binding proteins. These binding proteins have an important role in stabilizing and regulating the activity of IGFs in vivo. Bovine IGFBP-2 is able to bind both IGF-I and IGF-II. The Animal/Media Grade bIGFBP-2 contains as the major species genuine recombinant bIGFBP-2. Two alternative bIGFBP-2 processing products are also present: one with a four amino acid N-terminal extension and the second with a three amino acid C-terminal deletion.
