DescriptionMouse anti APC [Ali 12-28]: Horseradish peroxidase (HRP). This antibody recognises adenomatous polyposis coli (APC), a 310kDa protein that functions as a tumour suppressor. APC tumour suppressor gene is mutated in the inherited disease familial adenomatous polyposis (FAP) and in over 80% of colorectal cancers. The antibody Ali 12-28 recognises a region corresponding to nucleotides 135 and 422 of the APC (exons 2-3) in the N-terminus. It detects both normal and mutant-truncated forms of the APC and may be used for the detection of APC expression and APC mutations. Species reactivity: Human. Does not cross react with mouse
    ImmunogenN-terminal APC-MBP fusion protein
