Description
This antibody was developed using bovine haptoglobin as immunogen . It recognizes the heavy chain of haptoglobin in western blots. In serial immunoassays it can be used as both capture a nd detection antibody ( haptoglobin is an oligomer and therefore presents multiple epitopes to the antibody) . Importantly, h emoglobin does not interfere with 3F7 - 36 binding to haptoglobin. It was developed and manufactured at Life Diagnostics, Inc.
