One milliliter of packed gel. Provided in 90% acetone/10% acetic acid for long term storage. Rinse 2-3 times with water prior to use. Mix with concentrated protein in a non-amine containing buffer (100 mM sodium borate works well) at pH 8.5 for 3 hours. Warning: Use immediately or store activated Sepharose in a spark-free freezer or in very small quantities ( < 5 ml) in conventional freezer.
