Description
Recognizes Keratin 18. Specific to simple and glandular epithelial cells from the gastrointestinal tract, the respiratory tract and the urogenital tract, as well as endocrine and exocrine tissues and myoepithelial cells. No reaction with stratified squamous epithelia. In the transitional epithelium of the bladder this clone reacts only with superficial (umbrella) cells. Species Crossreactivity: Human, most mammals including mouse, rat, rabbit, canine, porcine; birds (chicken).
