Description
Interferon alpha-6 (IFN-alpha6) is a secreted protein which belongs to the alpha/beta interferon family. IFN-alpha6 is produced by macrophages, expressed at low level, only 1.0% of the average gene in this release. IFN-alpha6 contains interferon alpha, beta and delta domain. IFN-alpha has antiviral activities.
