Product Specifications Salmon/Trout IGF-I: The Product: Recombinant salmon (Oncorhynchus kisutch)/ trout O.mykiss) insulin-like growth factor-I (rsIGF-I) is a 70 amino acid polypeptide. IGF-I stimulates growth and differentiation in most cell types. IGF-I mediates many of the anabolic properties of growth hormone. Source: Salmon/trout IGF-I is synthesized in E. coli using a patented expression system and the salmon IGF-I is correctly folded and then purified by several liquid chromatography steps to yield Receptor Grade salmon/trout IGF-I.
