Description
UniProt: P21730 C5aR is a 350 amino acid, 45kDa member of the G protein-coupled receptor 1 family (GPCR) that interacts with C5a with very high binding affinity and, to a lesser extent, with C5a-desArg. It is a seven-membrane-spanning receptor found on neutrophils (PMN) and macrophages, and on a variety of other cell types such as endothelial cells, alveolar epithelial cells and Kupffer cells. C5aR is biochemically and apparently also functionally different from the other receptor for C5a, C5L2 (please see: T- 1218 GPR77 (human) - Clone 1A6).
