Immunohistochemistry, IF Microscopy, Western Blot. Anti-Kv2.1 Extracellular Antibody is suitable for use in WB and IF microscopy. Expect a band approximately ~105-125kDa on specific lysates (varies with cell background due to phosphorylation). Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user.

Description
Anti-Kv2.1 Extracellular Antibody was purified by Protein G chromatography. A BLAST analysis was used to suggest cross-reactivity with Kv2.1 from Mouse, human, and rat based on 100% homology with the immunizing sequence. Cross-reactivity with Kv2.1 from other sources has not been determined. Ion Channels research.

Kv2.1 Extracellular Antibody was produced in mice by repeated immunizations raised against a synthetic peptide corresponding to an internal region (extracellular S1-S2 loop) of rat Kv2.1.
