Description
This antibody was affinity purified using CRMP2 (C-terminal region) peptide (without carrier). The antibody detects a 70 kDa protein corresponding to the molecular mass of CRMP2 on SDS-PAGE immunoblots of human SKN-SH cells, mouse brain, and rat PC12 cells. This band on western blot can be specifically blocked using CRMP2 (C-terminal region) peptide (CX2165).
Immunogen
CRMP2 synthetic peptide (coupled to carrier protein) corresponding to amino acids in the C-terminal region of human CRMP2. This sequence is conserved in rat and mouse CRMP2, and has high homology to the conserved site in CRMP1. It has 50% homology to CRMP3 and CRMP5.
