Human Colon Smooth Muscle Cells are isolated from human normal colon section and are ideal models to provide insights in contractile, proliferative and connective tissue responses of human gastrointestinal tract research. The colon smooth muscle cells possess a distinct subtype of somatostatin compared to other intestine smooth muscle cells. T25 flasks is required for cell adhension to the culture vessels. Grow cells in ECM-coated culture vessels with 5% CO2. Each vial contains at least 1x10^6 cells per ml.
