    DescriptionFas Ligand (FASLG) is a cytokine that binds to TNFRSF6/FAS, a receptor that transduces the apoptotic signal into cells. It involves in cytotoxic T-cell-mediated apoptosis, natural killer cell-mediated apoptosis and in T-cell development. It initiates fratricidal/suicidal activation-induced cell death (AICD) in antigen-activated T-cells contributing to the termination of immune responses. BioVision's FASLG ELISA kit is a sandwich ELISA assay for the quantitative measurement of FASLG in Human serum, plasma and cell culture supernatants. The density of color is proportional to the amount of FASLG captured from the samples.
