Interleukin-22 receptor subunit alpha-1, also known as Cytokine receptor class-II member 9, Cytokine receptor family 2 member 9, ZcytoR11, IL22R and IL22RA1, is a single-pass type I membrane protein which belongs to the type II cytokine receptor family. IL22RA1 contains two fibronectin type-III domains and is expressed in colon, liver, lung, pancreas and kidney. IL22RA1 is a component of the receptor for IL20, IL22 and IL24. These receptors enable IL22 signaling via JAK/STAT pathways and signaling through STATs activation.
