    DescriptionRabbit polyclonal antibody to syndecan1 which is also known as SDC1 and CD138 whose expression can be detected in the tonsil and spleen but it is significantly expressive in the liver and cortex of the kidney. It is found in the exosome. It can perform functions like positive regulation of extracellular exosome assembly and ureteric bud development. It extensively regulates exosome biogenesis in concert with SDCBP and PDCD6IP. Cell surface proteoglycan that bears both heparan sulfate and chondroitin sulfate and that links the cytoskeleton to the interstitial matrix.
